Orange panna cotta

Panna cotta (Italian for “cooked cream”) is an Italian dessert of sweetened cream thickened with gelatin and molded. The cream may be aromatized with , coffee, vanilla, orange,tea berry or other flavorings.

Here I am giving you the best recipe of panna cotta which is tried by me . Its easy to mkae at home or at your restaurant.

Preparation time 15 minutes

cooking time 15minutes

 

 

Recipe:

Cooking cream   500ml

Caster sugar        150gm (you can adjust)

Milk                       100ml

Gelatin powder.   10gm

For flavour

Orange juice          50ml

Orange jest             5-6 pinch

Orange crush         50ml

Orange colour if you want ( not necessary .

Equipment need : saucepan,ladle,whisker,

For presentation : martini glass or mould, or you can use any bowl .

Method:-

  • In a bowl mix milk and gelatin powder ,to dilute properly heat it  till the time it get diluted, keep a side .
  • Take a saucepan put cooking cream and sugar and cook for 5-6 minute  till it get boil , remember stair it continues to avoid burn .
  • Then add orange zest to the saucepan and cook for 1 minutes
  • Then add the mixture of milk and gelatin to saucepan and mix properly.
  • Your plain panna cotta is ready
  • Pour it in martini glass or any mould you want to put .then refrigerate it for 3-4 hour.
  • Your plain panna cotta is ready

 

  • Orange panna cotta

 

  • To make as it in pictures, divide mixture from saucepan in two bowl
  • Mix one bowl of mixture with orange juice, orange crush and orange colour properly.
  • Take a martini glass then pour orange mixture to glass put it in fridge for 10 minutes, after that put plain mixture on top of that .
  • Do this as much layer you want.
  • Then put in refrigerator for 3-4 hour to get set
  • Garnish with orange zest or as per your choice .
  • Your orange panna cotta is ready.

Orange zest : outer skin if orange without inner white part. Which gives flavour .
